A Trip to LA

I will soon be turning a year older and my girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Burbank, Ca. to see the Warner Bros. Studio Tour. Now I'm even more thrilled because thanks to Emily from Cupcakes and Cashmere I will also be going to Barney's Warehouse Sale. I can't even express how excited I am about it! Perfect Timing!

My New Love

I got my shoes! I've been wanting these for awhile and I found them on Ebay. I haven't officially worn them yet but of course I tried them on and walked around in them and I'm happy to say that they're comfortable and painless to walk in. I can't wait to wear them in the spring.

All My Buys

Oh my gosh I'm so glad to be posting something! I feel like I haven't been on my blog in forever and time goes by so fast. I have been finding cute stuff since the holidays but hadn't took any pictures till now. My latest craze has mainly been shoes. I got a great pair from Aldo's, then I found the Chinese Laundry shoes I had been wanting for under 30 bucks at TJ Maxx!

This last weekend I went thrifting out of town with my mom, sis, and friend. My best finds there were coats. I got a Wilsons black leather jacket, it's a little big but itlooks good on and was 30 so I had to. Oh and don't get me started on Ebay. ;) The vintage looking STP and U2 tees are from Target and Old Navy.

Cabin in the Woods

New Years Day my sis and I went up to my aunt & uncle's cabin with a few of my cousins and aunts. It was a girls weekend of movies, great food, catch phrase (game), and making the perfect smore. It was good to spend some time with family. I can be a bit of a recluse sometimes.

Influence

I'm so behind on my blog. I've done so much and have bought cute stuff and haven't posted about it yet.
I've been wanting to start reading. I'm so good at starting a book and not finishing it. Last night I decided to read a little of one of my Christmas presents, Influence by MK & Ashley Olsen. I snuggled up on my couch with one of my softest blankets. It's so interesting to read about all these different lives.

A Sad Goodbye

I thought my first blog of the new year was going to be about the fun weekend I had but last night I had to put my kitty of 12 years to sleep. Usually when one of our pets in the family was sick or dying my dad would take care of it but this time it was me taking my kitty. Thankfully my sister and mom went with me to the vet. He was sick but I wasn't expecting to hear that it was that bad.

So this post is dedicated to my playful, talkative, shoe lover kitty, who cried at me every morning and greeted me when I got home every night.

Christmas Day

Christmas went by way too fast but it was good!! I spent the night at my parents house in the mountains where their tree was 3 of mine. We had my grandma's tamales for breakfast along with candy from our stockings. :) This year I spent alot of time shopping for the right gifts so it was fun to see everyone open them. My sister is always fun to buy for and my brother is the hardest but I did good. Below are a couple things I got my sis.
